Margaret is an energy lawyer with a robust background in litigation and regulatory matters, developed through internships at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and the U.S. Department of Energy.
Margaret’s experience in the energy sector includes drafting oil and gas drilling title opinions, supplemental title opinions, and limited acquisition title opinions for clients conducting oil and gas operations. She is skilled in advising clients on due diligence, complex mineral titles, pooling issues, lease analysis, joint operating agreements, surface use issues, and title curative. Moreover, she frequently presents webinars on oil, gas, title, and land use standards to audiences of certified professional landmen, division order analysts, and oil and gas attorneys.
Margaret served as Editor-in-Chief of the American University Law Review and received the Outstanding Graduate Award.
