Liskow strives to recruit, hire, and retain talented and diverse lawyers. The firm’s recent hiring trends speak for themselves. Over half of the firm’s lawyers are diverse, and over the last several years, more than half of the firm’s new attorney hires have been diverse.
Liskow is committed to advancing DE&I at all levels within the firm, regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, economic status, and other historically underrepresented categories. Our ability to cultivate an inclusive environment and recruit, retain and promote a diverse community of lawyers is vital to our culture. Diverse perspectives enable us to better serve our clients and help make Liskow a stronger and more capable law firm.
In addition to adopting the Houston Bar Association’s Gender Fairness Commitment Statement and the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Statement of Diversity Principles, Liskow has developed a comprehensive DE&I Strategic Plan. Liskow recognizes that having a Strategic Plan specifically for DE&I is essential and can be achieved only with the unequivocal support and robust participation of the firm’s leaders, the Diversity Committee, other committees, task forces, and a commitment by individual members of the firm, including attorneys and staff.
