Overview

Ryan Christiansen helps corporate clients in the areas of commercial real estate, banking and financing, construction, negotiated acquisitions, and commercial transactions. He represents a wide range of clients on a number of matters, including:

  • Developers, industrial companies, pipeline companies and other energy service companies with respect to the acquiring, developing, financing, selling and leasing of commercial real estate. As a Louisiana licensed title insurance agent and president of the firm’s title agency, he also counsels clients in the review and analysis of complex title issues and in the issuance of title insurance policies. 
  • Banks, lenders, private equity companies, and borrowers in commercial loan projects, often including those secured by real estate, vessel and marine related assets, oil and gas assets, and other business-related assets.
  • Business owners and other corporate clients in mergers, acquisitions and divestures as well as general corporate advice on entity formation, operations and investment structure.

Ryan is a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, the premier organization of U.S. real estate attorneys, and he is recognized by The Best Lawyers America for his real estate practice and banking and finance practice.

  • Representation to international industrial company in refinancing of $300 million credit facility secured by Louisiana real estate collateral
  • Representation of landowners and developers with wetland mitigation banking efforts, including consultancy agreements related thereto
  • Representation of developer in the formation and management of economic development districts, community development districts and homeowners associations
  • Representation of pipeline company in negotiating and acquiring pipeline rights of way and related properties
  • Representation of offshore supply vessel companies in the refinancing of fleet, sale of fleet and related corporate and vessel documentation matters
  • Representation of national bank in revision of lending forms for use in Louisiana

“My wife and I are proud parents of three children. We do our best to manage the chaos, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. Outside of the house, I love spending time with family and friends and enjoy all the usual native things, including riding in the Krewe of Endymion, cooking at Hogs for the Cause, and rooting for the Saints, Pelicans, and LSU Tigers.”
