Liskow Managing Partner, Bob Angelico, Awarded Louisiana Certified Public Accountants’ Distinguished Service Award

Liskow & Lewis is pleased to congratulate Bob Angelico for being recognized by the Society of Louisiana Certified Public Accountants (LCPA), the premier organization of accountants in Louisiana. Bob was awarded LCPA’s Distinguished Service Award for his significant work supporting the Society’s state and local taxation legislation efforts. Bob has been an active participant in LCPA for years. He is a past LCPA President and currently serves as the Society’s representative on the Louisiana Tax Institute.  He has previously received LCPA’s Outstanding CPA in Business and Industry Award and its Outstanding Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Discussion Leader Award.

Bob is a nationally known business lawyer with years of experience helping top-tier companies with sophisticated state and local tax issues throughout Louisiana.  He works to minimize the taxes of his clients, which include manufacturers, retailers, wholesalers, non-profits, construction businesses and other entities of all types and sizes.

Clients benefit from Bob's extensive experience with Louisiana state and local taxes, advising clients in entity formations, restructurings, acquisitions and dispositions. Businesses facing litigation in the energy sector often turn to Bob for income and franchise tax, sales and use tax, severance, and ad valorem tax disputes and other state and local tax claims. 

Bob is a Board Certified Tax Specialist ­- as certified by the Louisiana Board of Legal Specialization ­- and a licensed Certified Public Accountant.  He is consistently recognized for his tax practice by both national and local publications.  Chambers USA has recognized Bob for his practice since 2013, ranking him in its highest tier–Band 1.  He has also been recognized by Best Lawyers in America since 2003 and was listed as the New Orleans Tax Law “Lawyer of the Year” in 2018. Only one lawyer is recognized by Best Lawyers as a "Lawyer of the Year" for each practice area and geographic location. Bob has been recognized by Louisiana Super Lawyers since 2007, and by New Orleans Magazine as a “Top Lawyer” since 2015.

Liskow Welcomes Denice Redd-Robinette

Liskow & Lewis is pleased to welcome Denice Redd-Robinette to the firm. 

Denice Redd-Robinette is a litigator in the firm’s Baton Rouge office. She has experience in multiple facets of litigation, including experience with legislative and regulatory matters.

Prior to practicing law, Denice served in the United States Navy.  She regularly draws on her experience as a plane captain, maintaining F14 aircrafts and training new pilots on preflight preparation.  Denice was also a Litigation Paralegal for the Louisiana Department of Insurance in Baton Rouge. She received her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Southern University Law Center in 2019.

Liskow Welcomes Four New Associates

Liskow & Lewis is pleased to announce four attorneys have joined the firm.

Lance Bullock is a member of the firm’s Maritime, Oilfield, and Insurance practice group in the New Orleans office. Prior to joining the firm, Lance served as a police officer for the Kenner Police Department and the Loyola University Police Department. He also served the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Eastern District of Louisiana as a volunteer law clerk. Lance earned his Juris Doctor from Loyola University of New Orleans College of Law.

Chelsea Fitzgerald is a business lawyer in the firm’s New Orleans office. She has experience in real estate, public finance transactions, commercial lending, non-profit tax matters, and Fair Housing defense. Prior to joining the firm, Chelsea was an associate at the Nashville office of a DC- based law firm focused on commercial real estate, public housing authority representation, and affordable housing development. Chelsea previously served as a public service fellow at Southeast Louisiana Legal Services in New Orleans representing low-income clients with housing legal issues, including defending clients in eviction proceedings, preserving clients’ subsidized housing, advocating for clients’ rights, and mediating landlord-tenant conflicts.

Rebecca Guidry is an energy litigator practicing in the firm’s Lafayette office. Prior to joining the firm, Rebecca served as a federal judicial law clerk to the Honorable Judge L. Scott Coogler of the United States District Court of Northern Alabama. Rebecca received her Juris Doctor from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University.

Hayley Landry is a member of the firm’s Energy Litigation practice group in the New Orleans office.  Prior to joining the firm, Hayley served as a student attorney at the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice where she represented clients in various employment litigation matters under the supervision of an experienced attorney. She also served as the Lawyer Referral Service Coordinator and Special Projects Coordinator for the New Orleans Bar Association. Hayley received her Master of Science in Applied Criminology from Texas A&M Commerce before receiving her Juris Doctor from Loyola University College of Law.
