“When I work on a case, it’s not just the client’s case; it’s my case, too. You’ll have an advocate who is personally invested in finding a good outcome.”
Overview
Laura Brown helps her clients solve problems.
Her clients are defendants and plaintiffs; they are small business owners and the largest companies in the world. Their problems range from quiet disputes to headline-making multi-billion-dollar lawsuits.
Laura serves as the Assistant Practice Group Leader of Liskow’s Energy Section. She has nearly 15 years of experience in the energy and environmental space, encompassing “legacy” and coastal erosion lawsuits; lease, contract, and right-of-way disputes; upstream and midstream operational issues; site access; indemnities; regulatory compliance; and commercial disputes. Within the firm, Laura is a cross-discipline asset, especially for high-value maritime and commercial cases. Beyond litigation, Laura has counseled clients on matters such as legislation, media engagement, and environmental incident response.
Whether she is advising in-house counsel, C-suite executives, or pro bono clients, Laura brings the same strategic talent and diligent work ethic to every matter.
