C.J. Miller is a business lawyer in the firm’s Lafayette office, with experience practicing in the areas of commercial finance, secured transactions, commercial real estate, general business law, and succession and fiduciary administration.
In these areas, C.J. has worked with:
- Local, regional, and national banks on all manner of commercial loan projects;
- Businesses, both as main counsel and local counsel, as they buy, sell, and lease commercial real estate, including land, multifamily housing projects, and commercial and residential developments;
- Owners and management, as they form new business entities, negotiate and enter into various business contracts, and plan and implement mergers and acquisitions; and
- Administrators of successions and other fiduciaries, as they seek advice in implementing the provisions of wills and trusts, and heirs and legatees of successions and beneficiaries of trusts, as they seek advice on their rights.
