C.J. Miller is a business lawyer in the firm’s Lafayette office, advising clients on commercial finance, secured transactions, commercial real estate, and general business matters, as well as succession and fiduciary administration. He brings a practical, business-oriented perspective shaped by his experience at Liskow and his time serving in-house at one of the largest healthcare systems in Louisiana, where he served as an Assistant General Counsel and handled various transactional and commercial contract matters.
C.J. works with a wide range of clients, including:
- Local, regional, and national banks on all manner of commercial loan projects;
- Businesses, both as lead counsel and local counsel, as they buy, sell, and lease commercial real estate, including land, multifamily housing projects, and commercial and residential developments;
- Owners and management, as they form new business entities, negotiate and enter into various business contracts, and plan and implement mergers and acquisitions; and
