  • Represent multinational oilfield service provider in $52 million strategic acquisition of geochemical fluids and rock evaluation business with earnout structure.
  • Successful representation of a nationwide managing general underwriter and provider of primary marine, excess marine, inland marine and ocean cargo insurance in its sale to the insurance division of one of the largest financial institutions in the United States.
  • Successful representation of Benefit Administration Group, a provider of health and welfare employee benefit products, to NFP Corp., a leading, nationwide property and casualty broker, benefits consultant, wealth manager, and retirement plan advisor.
  • Representation of a large oil and gas services company in the sale of a seismic sensor technology subsidiary.
  • Representation of a purchaser in structuring an acquisition vehicle, negotiating financing, and successfully acquiring one of the largest commercial fishing operations in the Gulf of Mexico
  • Successful representation of a regional wholesale distribution company in its strategic acquisition of a similarly sized wholesale distribution company operating in a complimentary market.
  • Successful representation of a privately-held inland and oceangoing barge rental company in its marketing and sale;

  • Representation of a petrochemical company in its acquisition of plant in Ascension Parish Louisiana;
  • Representation of a landfill operator in the acquisition of landfill gas collection and refining rights over a neighboring landfill;
  • Provided regulatory, real estate, tax, and permitting counsel in connection with the acquisition of an aluminum plant in St. James Parish, Louisiana;

  • Acted as primary counsel for private equity fund Advantage Capital Mississippi Partners I, LP in making a follow-on mezzanine debt investment in portfolio company to allow such company to purchase another business.

  • Helis – Helis sale of LA oil and gas leases and assets to Krewe Energy
