Stephen (Steve) Schott's practice is concentrated in the areas of commercial real estate transactions and litigation, business transactions and litigation, and environmental law.
Steve has been recognized for his work in real estate and environmental law by Louisiana Super Lawyers and New Orleans Magazine as a “Top Lawyer of New Orleans” for many years. He is the author of an environmental law handbook entitled “Louisiana Environmental Law,” as well as an article published in the U.C.L.A. Journal of Environmental Law and Policy. He is a certified mediator by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and has served as an advisor on the Tulane Environmental Law Journal Advisory Board for many years.
Steve is a native New Orleanian who received a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, magna cum laude, from Southeastern Louisiana University, a Juris Doctor degree from Loyola University School of Law, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Energy and Environment, with distinction, from Tulane University School of Law.
Prior to joining Liskow, Steve was a partner at Baldwin Haspel Burke & Mayer.
