  • Salissou v. CMA CGM, et al, 23-cv-12579 (D.N.J. 2024): Decision and Order granting motion to dismiss plaintiff’s various claims for cargo loss and related consequential damages.
  • Soreidom S.A. v. Hansen-Mueller, SMA No. 4474 (N.Y. Arb. 2024). SMA Arbitration Award granting full recovery of demurrage claim in excess of $900,000 in connection with dispute involving multiple vessels and contracts under NAEGA 2 terms.
  • Mejia v. Super P57 LLC, et al, 215 A.D.3d 491 (1st Dept. 2023) – Decision and Order affirming the grant of summary judgment, dismissing plaintiff’s Labor Law 240(1) claims in connection with personal injuries arising unwitnessed fall from a scaffold at a construction site.
  • Karimas Imp. Exp., LLC CMA CGM, et al, 2021 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 261041 (D. Ct. 2021) – Decision and Order granting motion to dismiss claims against ocean carrier for lack of personal jurisdiction, and for forum non conveniens based on the foreign law and jurisdiction clause contained in the bill of lading.
  • Condoleo v. American President Lines Ltd. and APL Co. Pte , et al, 2019 AMC 1679, 2019 WL 2575405 (E.D.N.Y. 2019) – Decision and Order granting summary judgment dismissing personal injury action with breach of warranty and negligence claims against ocean carrier and container lessee.
  • Achieved significant mitigation of monetary penalties imposed by CBP on behalf of shipowners, ocean carriers, NVOCCs, and other logistic providers.
  • Assisted in obtaining the dismissal of misrepresentation claims against the former owner of a high-performance speedboat based on lack of personal jurisdiction in New York state court.
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of an ocean carrier pursuant to the Graves Amendment in a case involving a road accident caused by a shipping container.
  • Achieved the successful resolution of a Shipowner’s Limitation of Liability action involving a collision between a fishing vessel and a container ship, which resulted in various claims for crewmember psychological injuries and hull damage.
