Overview
Kathryn Gonski is a litigator and appellate lawyer who represents both individuals and local, national, and global companies in all areas of litigation, including energy, environmental, personal injury, and general contract and other commercial disputes. Her corporate clients span various industries, including retail, staffing, marine, and energy companies.
A persuasive writer and analytic strategist, she has successfully represented her clients in all phases of litigation—from dispositive motion practice, through trial, and with extensive experience at the appellate stage. “I have the distinct ability to take complex issues and present them to the trial or appellate court in a manner that is clear, concise, and makes it easy to rule in my client’s favor. I’ve also developed a unique knowledge of appellate law and the appellate system, which is critically important to the clients I represent.” Kathryn handles cases in state and federal courts, and her appellate practice regularly includes appearances before the various Louisiana courts of appeal, the Louisiana Supreme Court, and the United States Fifth Circuit.
