Lateral hires are typically brought on board to fulfill a need in a specific section or practice area. Shareholder credit for lateral hires is considered on an individual basis and takes into account the lawyer’s area of practice, years of experience, and potential or existing client base.
Associates
Liskow is very selective in its hiring decisions, and the firm provides the necessary tools for a talented new lawyer to build a successful career.
Associate training and development is a top priority at Liskow. In addition to learning the practice of law from the best of the best, associates learn how to develop business, understand technology, and maintain good mental health. Regularly scheduled formal in-house programs, as well as day-to-day interaction with senior lawyers and clients, help associates reach their professional potential.
