Overview

Hayley is a member of the firm’s Energy Litigation practice group in the New Orleans office. Hayley focuses her practice on energy litigation, representing clients in complex disputes arising from the upstream and midstream sectors of the energy industry, as well as related environmental matters. She counsels clients through litigation involving operational and environmental issues, drawing on a deep understanding of Louisiana’s energy industry and its evolving legal and regulatory landscape.

Her practice is further enhanced by active leadership in industry organizations and an ongoing commitment to staying at the forefront of developments affecting the energy sector, enabling her to provide clients with informed, practical counsel in a rapidly changing industry.

Beyond her core practice, Hayley is committed to civic engagement and expanding access to justice, dedicating significant time to pro bono initiatives and leadership roles throughout the community. Hayley spearheads the firm’s participation with the Pro Bono Project’s Self Help Resource Center and devotes time to volunteering with local legal aid organizations. Her dedication to community leadership and pro bono service has been recognized with honors, including The Pro Bono Project’s Distinguished Service Award, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel’s (LADC) Frank L. Maraist Award, and the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Pro Bono Award.

Prior to joining the firm, Hayley served as a student attorney at the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice where she represented clients in various employment litigation matters under the supervision of an experienced attorney. She also served as the Lawyer Referral Service Coordinator and Special Projects Coordinator for the New Orleans Bar Association. Hayley received her Master of Science in Applied Criminology from Texas A&M Commerce before receiving her Juris Doctor from Loyola University College of Law.
