“As a litigator, I help solve business problems in the context of legal disputes. Sometimes the best path forward involves crafting a creative business solution outside of the courtroom, and other times it involves aggressively litigating through trial and appeal. With my diverse litigation experience and business background, I work with clients to understand their business and implement an effective plan to achieve their goals.”

Overview

Michael Ishee maintains an energy and business litigation practice. Michael has experience in both state and federal courts, as well as mediating and arbitrating disputes. He handles disputes for oil and gas companies involving mineral royalties, joint operating agreements, gas marketing practices, well costs, oil and gas accounting, unleased mineral interests, and property damage. Michael also represents oil and gas companies in “legacy suits” that involve claims of oilfield contamination allegedly caused by historic oil and gas exploration and production activities.

In business litigation, Michael represents clients in cases involving allegations of fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, and other issues arising out of corporate organization and management. Michael also handles disputes involving trusts, estates, and successions.
