Overview
For over 40 years, Don has represented clients in various estate planning & probate issues. He is a Board Certified Tax Specialist and Board Certified Estate Planning and Administration Specialist through the Louisiana State Bar Specialization Board.
Prior to joining the firm, Don worked for the Estate and Gift Tax Division of the Internal Revenue Service from 1974-1979, and he was appointed as Special Master for a series of related complex Trust and Estate Litigation matters by the 27th Judicial District Court, St. Landry Parish. Don was also appointed as Special Master for multiparty and multi-suit succession and property litigation by the 15th Judicial District Court, Acadia Parish.
Don served in the United States Army Transportation Corp as a company commander in both Frankfurt, Germany and Vietnam, and he attained the rank of Captain.
