Hayley Landry Awarded Liskow & Lewis Pro Bono Award

In 2021, Hayley volunteered nearly 100 hours of her time providing legal services to those unable to pay for representation. She is a frequent volunteer of the Southeast Louisiana Legal Services in forma pauperis clinic. The clinic helps domestic litigants fill out and execute their initial paperwork, and when necessary, the in forma pauperis package along with any additional required documentation. This process helps litigants overcome the all too common barrier of initial costs that many unfortunately face.
Also, for the second year in a row, Hayley organized the firm’s involvement in The Pro Bono Project’s CDC Helpdesk Adopt-A-Month Program. Hayley spent Wednesday mornings in August providing notary services and resources to pro se domestic litigants and led other Liskow & Lewis attorneys in this effort.
“Hayley is an outstanding lawyer. Her dedication to helping those who cannot pay for necessary legal services is inspiring. She uses her talent and time to support those in need, and we are proud to recognize her commitment with this award,” said Ray Waid, chair of the firm's pro bono committee.
