Liskow is proud to announce that the firm has achieved Mansfield Certification Plus for 2023–2024. This year-long, structured certification process reflects the firm’s commitment to ensuring that all talent at Liskow has equal opportunities to advance into leadership. The goal of the program is to make the firm’s advancement processes transparent and inclusive for everyone. The certification process evaluates our efforts in tracking diverse talent for leadership, publishing criteria and processes, and sharing DEI best practices.
To achieve the Plus designation, we voluntarily provided data to Diversity Lab to showcase our progress and outcomes in expanding our talent pools and enhancing the visibility of our advancement practices. This transparency allows us, along with Diversity Lab, to celebrate our successes and identify areas for continued improvement.
Our participation in the Mansfield program is one of the many ways Liskow is committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. We are proud of the progress we have made since joining, and data shows that firms remaining committed and accountable to the Mansfield Certification process year-over-year are making substantial strides in creating inclusive talent practices and diversifying their leadership ranks.
About the Mansfield Certification Process
Mansfield’s methodology, which has proven to build more diverse leadership teams, is rooted in changes to systems and processes, not exclusivity or discrimination. Mansfield ensures that opportunities for advancement are inclusive by broadening talent pools instead of instilling quotas, set-asides, or requirements unrelated to an individual’s qualifications.
Focused on opening the door wider and ensuring that opportunities are inclusive, certified firms considered broad slates of qualified talent for leadership roles that included at least 30% historically underrepresented lawyers—such as women lawyers, underrepresented racial and ethnic lawyers, LGBTQ+ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities. In addition, as part of the Certification process, certified firms worked hard to enhance the transparency of their leadership roles, advancement processes, and compensation policies.
