Madeline is a business lawyer in the firm’s Houston office.  She has represented clients in all phases of energy exploration, development, and production and has handled a variety of matters ranging from lease drafting and entity formation to intellectual property disputes and complex litigation.  Madeline has experience in drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, joint operating agreements, surface use agreements, access agreements, easements, mineral conveyances, and other transactional documents.  She has represented landowners and commercial tenants in a variety of acquisitions and leases and has a broad understanding of title matters. Her litigation experience includes royalty and surface use disputes, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and indemnification. Madeline received her Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law.
