Overview

Alec is an environmental litigator practicing in the areas of mass tort, products liability, and general commercial litigation. Alec is recognized by Chambers and Partners as an “Associates to Watch” in the Chambers USA 2022 Edition for “Litigation: General Commercial.” He is noted by Chambers as “extremely responsive and diligent.” 

Alec has substantial experience with mass tort dockets, and he has served on two trial teams spanning nearly 120 concurrent cases. Other notable experience includes immersive second-chair trial preparation, extensive motion practice, corporate witness deposition preparation, and oral argument at pre-trial hearings in federal court. 

Alec’s experience as a federal judicial law clerk for the Honorable Ivan L.R. Lemelle in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana pays dividends when handling matters in both state and federal trial courts. Experiencing a case from its inception through trial allows him to provide practical and insightful advice to clients who have issues being adjudicated before state and federal district court judges. Alec’s peers regularly seek his advice regarding federal procedure and strategy.
