Shareholders Dana M. Douglas and K. Todd Wallace have been selected to New Orleans CityBusiness’ Leadership in Law 2013. This year marks the second time that Ms. Douglas has been recognized as a member of the Leadership in Law class—she also received the honor as an associate in 2007.
Ms. Douglas' practice emphasizes commercial, energy and intellectual property litigation. An active member of the community, she is a past chair of the Young Lawyers Section of the New Orleans Bar Association (NOBA), a former member of the Louisiana Board of Governors, and a past recipient of the Minorities in the Profession Fellowship of the American Bar Association. She currently serves as co-chair of the Minorities in the Profession Committee of NOBA, and as Vice-President of NOBA's Board of Directors. Ms. Douglas is also a member of Liskow & Lewis’ Diversity Committee. She received her Juris Doctorate from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2000.
Mr. Wallace is a shareholder in the New Orleans office where he heads the firm’s Antitrust and Trade Regulation Practice Group. He also serves on the firm's Executive Board of Directors and as one of the firm's two Hiring Partners. His practice includes a wide variety of business litigation matters, including the prosecution and defense of antitrust and unfair trade practice claims, contractual disputes, professional liability matters, construction claims, and significant tax litigation cases. Mr. Wallace is a 1998 graduate of the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude.
Since 2005, CityBusiness has published a special edition of the publication profiling 50 area attorneys, court-associated professionals, and educators who have established themselves as leaders through their distinctive professional contributions and community involvement, and has spotlighted several of Greater New Orleans’ most prominent leaders in the legal field.
This year’s Leadership in Law honorees will be recognized at a cocktail reception March 18 at the New Orleans Museum of Art. For more information about the 2013 Leadership in Law class, and to see a full list of this year’s honorees, please click here.
