Ten Associates Join Liskow & Lewis

Liskow & Lewis is pleased to announce that 10 associates have joined the firm.

Shauna R. Collins practices in the firm’s Houston office in the areas of business law, energy and natural resources law, real estate law, and tax law. She received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2012. Ms. Collins received the Rickert Award for Excellence, the most prestigious and extensive award at the College of Law. She is a 2009 graduate of Texas A&M University, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics, magna cum laude, in 2009.

Lauren J. Delery practices in the firm’s New Orleans office in the areas of energy and natural resources law and energy litigation. Prior to joining Liskow and Lewis, Ms. Delery served as a law clerk to the Honorable Ivan L.R. Lemelle, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, and as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of New Orleans. She received her Juris Doctorate from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2007, and is also a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University.

Sarah Y. Dicharry practices in the firm's New Orleans office, and is a member of the firm's environmental law and energy and natural resources law sections. She received her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2012. At Loyola, Ms. Dicharry served as Managing Editor of the Loyola Law Review. She is also a 2009 graduate of Louisiana State University.

Joshua P. Downer practices in the firm’s Houston office. His areas of practice include appellate litigation, business litigation, and energy litigation. Mr. Downer received his Juris Doctorate, summa cum laude, from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University, in 2012. At LSU, he was selected to Order of the Coif and was a member of the Moot Court Board, the Mineral Law Society, and the Public Interest Law Society. Mr. Downer is also a 2008 graduate of Millsaps College, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in History.

Jonathan J. Fox is an associate in the firm’s Energy Litigation section and practices in the firm’s New Orleans office. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude. At Loyola, Mr. Fox was recognized as a William L. Crowe scholar, served as a Comment/Note Editor for the Loyola Law Review, and was a member of Loyola’s Moot Court. Mr. Fox received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, cum laude, from Nicholls State University in 2008.

Alma F. Gomez is an associate in the firm’s Houston office. She has experience in the oil and gas industry, handling a variety of issues including contract disputes, royalty disputes, and premises liability. She also has a wide array of business litigation and labor and employment law experience. Ms. Gomez received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law, with honors, in 2009. She is a 2005 graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, where she received her bachelor of arts degree with highest honors.

Wm. Brian London is an associate in the firm’s New Orleans office. His practice includes commercial litigation and labor and employment litigation. He received his Juris Doctorate, summa cum laude, from the Tulane University Law School in 2011. At Tulane, he received the John Minor Wisdom Award, the Dean’s Medal, the Tulane 34 Award, and was selected to Order of the Coif. He also served as Senior Notes and Comments Editor for the Tulane Law Review, Vol. 85. Mr. London received his Bachelor of Arts in English, cum laude, from Rhodes College in 2005.

Christopher M. Rhymes is an associate in the firm's Lafayette office. His practice includes the areas of energy litigation; environmental law; and maritime, oilfield, and insurance. Mr. Rhymes is a 2012 graduate of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University, where he received his Juris Doctorate and Diploma in Comparative Law. At LSU, he served as the Managing Editor of the Louisiana Law Review. Mr. Rhymes received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy, cum laude, from Tulane University in 2009.

Laura E. Springer is an associate in the firm's New Orleans office. Her practice focuses primarily on the areas of energy litigation and environmental law. Ms. Springer is a 2012 graduate of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she received her Juris Doctorate and Diploma in Civil Law, summa cum laude, and graduated first in her law school class. At LSU, she was a member of the Louisiana Law Review and Order of the Coif. Ms. Springer received her B.A. in English Literature, summa cum laude, from Louisiana State University in 2009.

Nicholas S. Wise is an associate in the firm's Lafayette office. His practice includes the areas of energy litigation; toxic tort and environmental litigation; and maritime, oilfield, and insurance. Mr. Wise is a 2011 graduate of the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, Louisiana State University, where he received his Juris Doctorate and Diploma in Comparative Law. While attending law school, he externed for the Louisiana Supreme Court under the Honorable Justice John L. Weimer. After completing law school, Mr. Wise had the honor of serving as a law clerk to the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana under the Honorable Tom Stagg. Mr. Wise received his Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Decision Sciences from Louisiana State University in 2006 and worked as a systems analyst for the Louisiana Division of Administration for two years before attending law school.
