Liskow & Lewis is pleased to announce the addition of three attorneys in the firm’s Houston office:
All three attorneys were previously with Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP in Houston.

The addition of Mr. Cash, Mr. Howard, and Mr. Montoya increases the depth of our litigation practice in our Houston office and allows us to better serve these energy clients in Texas and around the country.”
Mr. Cash has represented clients in complex commercial litigation for more than two decades. He has tried in excess of 75 cases to jury verdict on behalf of individual and corporate clients in state and federal courts, as well as numerous appellate courts in several states and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Cash has been recognized for his outstanding trial work and has been quoted in advocacy textbooks, and has taught advocacy skills throughout the United States and Canada. He is a faculty member of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Cash is a 1985 graduate of the Baylor University School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, and served as Editor and Contributing Author for the Baylor Law Review.
Mr. Howard handles an array of civil litigation matters as both plaintiff and defense counsel. He has resolved numerous lawsuits through settlement negotiations and mediation, and has extensive trial experience, trying cases to positive jury and bench verdicts in both state and federal court. Mr. Howard received his Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center in 1993. During law school, he served as the editor of the Houston Law Review and was selected to Order of the Barons and Order of the Coif.
Mr. Montoya has represented numerous clients in commercial litigation, consumer litigation, personal injury/product liability defense, premises liability defense, and non-subscriber worker’s compensation defense cases in state and federal courts, and has resolved numerous lawsuits through settlement negotiations and mediation. In addition to his litigation experience, Mr. Montoya has administered a complex in-house mediation program for a large corporate client. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center in 1996.
