Michael A. Golemi of Liskow & Lewis law firm has been selected as one of the 2009 “Super Lawyers-Rising Stars.” Law & Politics will publish its list of 2009 Texas Rising Stars in the April edition of Texas Monthly magazine, which reaches more than 2.2 million readers.

Golemi, a shareholder with Liskow & Lewis, has been named to Texas Rising Stars for the second time for Personal Injury Defense. Golemi began his career with the firm’s New Orleans office in 1999 and recently transferred to the firm’s Houston office in 2005. His litigation practice focuses on maritime, casualty, toxic tort, insurance coverage and products liability law. Mr. Golemi also has experience in business litigation, construction law and litigation, and labor and employment law related matters.

Texas Rising Stars are the greatest up-and-coming attorneys who are 40 or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less. Rising Stars are selected based on nominations by members of the elite Texas Super Lawyers list, peer evaluations and internal research. Only 2.5 percent of Texas attorneys were selected for this honor.
