David Leefe, section leader of the firm's maritime, oilfield, and insurance practice group, has been re-appointed as Chair of the Louisiana State Bar Association's Client Assistance Fund Committee. This will be his third year as Chair of the committee. The mission of the Client Assistance Fund Committee is to protect the public and maintain the integrity of the legal profession by reimbursing, to the extent deemed appropriate, losses caused by the dishonest conduct of any licensed Louisiana lawyer practicing in the state.
