Everard A. Marseglia, Jr. Of Counsel, HoustonMr. Marseglia maintains a comprehensive energy practice in commercial litigation, arbitration, mediation and regulatory and environmental law. Mr. Marseglia is admitted to practice before state and federal courts in Texas and the District of Columbia, and he is admitted as a Neutral Arbitrator by the International Center for Dispute Resolution and the American Arbitration Association, where he is listed on the International, Energy and Construction Panels. He has written and spoken extensively on a variety of energy issues.
Following law school, Mr. Marseglia served as a law clerk to the Honorable Malcolm R. Wilkey, United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and to the Honorable Luther W. Youngdahl, United States District Court for the District of Columbia. Other professional experience includes the Federal Energy Administration, where he was Deputy Assistant General Counsel for Price Regulations, and the United States Department of Energy, where he was Assistant General Counsel for Interpretations and Rulings. Mr. Marseglia is a former partner of Houston firms Burns, Wooley, Marseglia & Zabel, LLP, and Butler & Binion, LLP, where he served as Administrative Partner of the Energy, Real Property and Environmental Law Section.
