
Leta A. Seletzky Associate, HoustonMs. Seletzky practices in the areas of business litigation, energy litigation, and government investigations and white collar criminal defense. Her business litigation practice includes business torts and securities litigation. Her energy litigation practice includes landowner/mineral lessee disputes and federal False Claims Act royalty litigation. In her government investigations and white collar criminal defense practice, she has worked on behalf of corporate and individual clients. Ms. Seletzky's experience includes extensive motions practice, jury and bench trials, administrative proceedings, arbitration, and mediation. Prior to joining Liskow & Lewis, Ms. Seletzky was an Assistant Federal Public Defender for the District of Columbia, where she litigated a federal criminal jury trial as lead counsel.
Ms. Seletzky, who speaks French, serves as a volunteer attorney for Texas Accountants and Lawyers for the Arts, through which she successfully represented a pro bono client in an administrative appeal challenging a university's denial of the client's graduate degree. She also currently serves on the Houston Steering Committee of the 2008 Texas Minority Counsel Program. In addition, she is an active member of the Houston Bar Association's Minority Opportunities in the Legal Profession committee and the firm's Diversity Committee. Expand bio  |
